There are holiday activities aplenty around Flynns Beach Resort, a Port Macquarie accommodation. We're located near most of Port Macquarie's award-winning tourist attractions.

Natural Wonders

Port Macquarie boasts a range of glorious natural wonders. Known primarily for its beautiful, unspoiled beaches and headlands, there's swimming, surfing, fishing, boating and a host of other water sports to enjoy.

Beyond that, there are enchanting rainforests, the glorious North Brother Lookout and winding drives in and around the nearby ranges especially to be enjoyed during a weekend getaway . Or you can take the family to explore the quaint seaside towns and fishing villages up and down the coast

Action Stations

If fast-paced, action-packed adventure is more your scene, then try your hand at some exciting activities, including:

  • ocean kayaking or canoeing the local rapids
  • horse riding through the beautiful Bellrowan Valley
  • heading for the hills with a choice of four wheel drive tours
  • taking to the skies with sky diving, hang gliding, parasailing or the Fighter Flight Centre, which offers Australia's only fighter jet flights for civilians!
  • testing your sea legs on a deep sea fishing cruise
  • Scuba diving with Under Water Adventures

Animal Adventures

Your kids won't forget their visit to the Koala Hospital or the Billabong Wildlife Park. They can get up close and personal with some of Australia's cute and cuddly friends during your family holiday. Be sure to bring your camera.

Travel Back in Time

In nearby Wauchope, you can relive the wild colonial days at Timbertown Heritage Park. You and your family will be transported back to yesteryear with an authentic experience of what life was like in timber country over 100 years ago.

The district has many significant historical sites, including a convict-built church (the last of its type in Australia), a stately courthouse and numerous fascinating ruins.

Local Arts and Crafts

Savour a few quiet moments as you browse Port Macquarie's many art galleries, craft studios, antique dealers, furniture makers, and vineyards.

Urban Delights

Port Macquarie also boasts a selection of top-class restaurants, cafes and coffee shops. Many specialise in local produce and the freshest, locally caught seafood delights.

There's great shopping to enjoy as well. You can stock up at one of our large shopping malls or enjoy a real shop-till-you-drop experience as you wander from boutique to boutique in the town centre.

And nightlife abounds too! Our clubs and pubs offer a great night out. Whether you like live music, dancing the night away or a quiet, cozy evening, you're bound to find it any night of the week.
